Customer Review: Surprisingly disappointed

I've used my square stoneware pan maybe 10 times and didn't have any problems. But today my dish just cracked right down the middle while in the oven at 400 degrees, just like the other 1-star reviewer experienced. I did not see this coming. I'm disappointed, but at least I found it at TJ Maxx for $12.

Stoneware can be used in the oven, broiler or microwave and will not absorb odors or flavors. The durable finish resists chipping, scratching and staining. These bold classic color pieces with handles go straight from baking to the table making a beautiful tabletop presentation.This classic baking dish from Le Creuset is both durable and beautiful. Made from stoneware fired above 2100 degrees F for the ultimate in strength, then coated with hard enamel, the dish is superb at resisting scratching, chipping, staining, odor absorption, and cracking. The stoneware goes from refrigerator or freezer to microwave or oven to serving at the table with the aid of two sure-grip carry handles, and can even be used under the broiler. Just avoid stovetop use.
