Customer Review: Great for lots of things - especially in a 1-2 person house

I picked this up at a Le Creuset store thinking that it was a great shape for fish (of course, since that is what it is designed for). However, I haven't even cooked a fish in it yet (just haven't gotten around to fish since I got it). But I do use it frequently for other things in my two-person household. I have roasted baby tomatoes in it and cooked mushrooms - that kind of thing. It holds just the right amount of veggies for a side for each of us. Plus, this dish is narrow, so if you need your oven space for another part of your dinner, this can sit nicely on the side.
I love how it looks, too. This is one of their 'heritage' pieces and is very pretty to me.
It is cast iron, but since it's pretty small, I don't find it to be very heavy - even with food. I don't use a small (counter-top) oven, but I bet this would fit inside one of those.
