I've had mine for three years. It still looks great. I use mine for making soup and boiling water for pasta. The key is that you have to read the description. This is not cast iron. I'm befuddled by those who ordered this and complain about not getting an iron pot. As with any product (whining Calphalon shoppers, pay attention), read the ENTIRE description. If you got what you didn't expect, it's your fault, not the manufacturer's or distributor's?
